Textil Bau designs and implements projects in the field of textile architecture and is known for its sophisticated membrane structures, which are used successfully worldwide, particularly on cruise ships and ocean-going yachts, in trade fairs and exhibitions, the hotel industry, catering, and gardening and landscaping.

In collaboration with a proven international network of engineers, steel and membrane constructors, and first-class fitters, we create membranes that are unique in their form. Whether as a high-point structure, hypar or arched girder, the membrane structures at Textil Bau are intelligent and innovative solutions.

Our services range from consulting, design, structural and detailed planning, manufacturing and assembly to maintenance. We guarantee our customers professional and cost-effective project management from the initial design to the final assembly.

Company history

Textil Bau can look back on almost 25 years of corporate success and was founded in Hamburg in 1999 by Ingo Lishke, Master of Archineering. The trained master sailmaker has realised countless membrane constructions in Germany, and later in Europe, Asia, South Africa, Dubai and Bahrain, and is considered one of the international specialists in the field of textile structures. The joint venture with the membrane construction company Texshade Prefabs enabled Textil Bau to enter the Indian market in 2006.

Ingo Lishke passed away unexpectedly in 2010. His wife Kim Reinsch (formerly Lishke), a business graduate, took over her husband's business as owner and continues to run it successfully with her proven team. Marcel Jäger, who previously worked as a project manager at Textil Bau, has also been part of the management team since 2022.
