After a long lead time and considerable technical effort, Textil Bau GmbH, together with architect Dr Lars Meeß-Olsohn, has created a new, large membrane roof structure over the amphitheatre of the ‘Oude Marie’ (Low German: ‘Old Mary’) in the Maria Lindenhof public park in Dorsten.

The two PVC-coated polyester fabric sails above the stage and grandstand, covering a total area of almost 700 m², are supported by two mighty steel masts, each more than 12 m long.

The new membrane roof makes the open-air event venue and its terrace bar much more attractive. Guests and artists are now well protected from rain and blazing sun at future cultural events.
