A new bus interchange was planned and built in the industrial estate of the town of Arnstadt. It was designed so that four buses can easily reach and serve the stop at the same time.

The steel substructure was covered with a highly translucent technical fabric, so that it appears pleasantly bright under the roof during the day. Especially at night, the membrane acts as an ideal projection and reflection surface thanks to the lighting concept implemented by lichtraum.
