In a record time of nine weeks, Textil Bau and its partners realised ENTEGA AG's vision and covered the new Darmstadt energy filling station with three funnel-shaped umbrellas in membrane construction. The umbrellas are made of PVC-coated polyester fabric and form the substructure for photovoltaic panels, which were attached to the edge of the umbrellas. An idea for textile projects of the future that could contribute to the energy transition in this way.
