CeNak west facade, Hamburg
The Zoological Museum in Hamburg underwent extensive renovation. As part of this, the old exposed aggregate concrete facade was given a new look with a textile facade covering. The steel substructure required for this was laboriously anchored to the existing structure. This frame construction was covered with a large-scale silver PTFE-coated glass mesh fabric. In addition, four rows of balconies and the attic across the entire width of the building were clad with a large number of covered frames.
