An existing beach kiosk on the Baltic Sea was extensively renovated and expanded. As part of this project, the spectacular roof terrace was to be covered with a custom-made sail structure. This required reconciling a variety of constraints, such as aesthetics, limited construction height, drainage, clearance profile, etc., with the high wind loads on the coast.
