In order to make optimum use of the stage even in bad weather, Chursächsische Veranstaltungs GmbH opted for a permanent membrane roof. With a steel structure height of approx. 13 m and a membrane area of approx. 790 m², a very spacious and elegant solution was found. The main membrane is significantly stronger than the rear canopy due to the high stresses it is subjected to. The roof membrane consists of a total of four individual elements, each of which was attached linearly to the trusses by means of clamps. Only the rear side was tensioned on one side with ropes. PVC-coated fabric was used for all elements.
