Queen Victoria
At the beginning of 2015, the cruise ship Queen Victoria, owned by the British shipping company Cunard Line, underwent a refit at the Blohm + Voss shipyard in Hamburg.
Three structures for enhancing the outdoor area were planned, manufactured and installed in a short period of time. Close and effective cooperation with our capable partners made it possible to complete the project in just a few weeks.
As with its sister ship, the Queen Elizabeth, the pool area on Deck 9 was visually enhanced with a membrane structure, and the bow structures on Deck 12 were designed to provide protection from the sun and wind. In addition, a further, slightly smaller structure was added on Deck 10. A total membrane area of approx. 250 m² was installed.
