Textil Bau installed a high-quality and functional textile shading system for the outdoor area of the Scanhotel in Rostock. The aim was to provide flexible shading for the spacious hotel terrace and the adjacent dining area, whilst at the same time ensuring guests could enjoy a comfortable stay outdoors.

Six motorised retractable sunshade sails were installed, enabling flexible shading of the outdoor areas and offering guests protection from the sun and the weather.

The sails can be conveniently extended and retracted using a remote control or automatically. Thanks to its delicate construction and harmonious integration into the outdoor area, the system combines functional sun protection with a modern, attractive design.
