Car park roofing in Velbert
An arched structure made of hot-dip galvanised and additionally coated steel was designed and planned for a parking space canopy in front of an existing concrete wall. The design was created by the leichtbaukunst studio, Dr. Lars Meeß-Olsohn. The roof covering was made of PTFE-coated fibreglass fabric. A silver mesh fabric was chosen as a partial privacy screen on the sides, which also meets fire safety requirements.
Functional LED lighting under the roof covering and at the top of the masts really shows off the roof at night.
Within a few weeks, the initially beige membrane has completely faded to a bright white appearance.
