CeNak south facade, Hamburg
During the renovation of the Zoological Museum in Hamburg, the south facade of the adjoining building was also refurbished. The old exposed aggregate concrete facade was given a new look with a textile facade covering. At the same time, the curtain wall textile facade protects the surrounding area from falling pieces of the old facade. The steel substructure required for this was anchored to the existing structure. This frame construction was covered with a large-area covering of silver PTFE-coated glass mesh fabric. The fastening technology and installation were carried out in the same way as for the system on the west facade.
