The cruise ships Hanseatic nature, inspiration and spirit together form the new series of Hapag-Lloyd expedition ships, which were designed for worldwide use and extreme conditions – especially for voyages to the polar regions and through the Amazon.

Textil Bau designed and installed a large retractable sunshade over the pool area on each of the ships to ensure guests can enjoy their time outdoors. It provides flexible roofing and is designed to withstand wind speeds up to hurricane force. The roof retracts automatically in the event of severe weather.
